Italian Courses

Socio-cultural Programme

OMNILINGUA believes that language education doesn't end with the ringing of the school bell. To assure a full experience and make your stay comfortable and pleasant at the same time, the school organises an interesting and diverse social and cultural programme aimed at educating and motivating participants of all ages. During the week, the school organises afternoon activities for you to participate in. During the weekend, day-long excursions are often organised. Our social programme includes activities with the students for the purpose of creating a friendly environment and encouraging cultural exchange.  You are invited to participate in the cultural and social programme, both local students and those from other countries. This programme has been created in order to give the foreign participants an opportunity to meet Italian students and spend some time together speaking Italian. Some activities may include fees, such as mini-courses and trips to the museums and parks, which require the payment of an entry ticket.

The programme is organised by the school and includes different activities every week. It is adapted from time to time according to the average students' age. The mountains, the sea and the coast around Sanremo offer many opportunities to practice sports and participate in excursions. The nearby cities and historical locations along the coast and in the countryside are ideal for cultural visits – If you are interested in art, cooking, history, then there will always be something for you to do.

Cultural Programme

The cultural programme includes pleasant trips to places such as: Sanremo, Bordighera including the Villa of Queen Margherita, Montecarlo, Menton in France, the medieval villages inland (Bussana Vecchia, Triora “The village of  the witches”, Taggia, Apricale and Dolceacqua with its renowned “Visionarium” cinema, Villa Hambury, one of the most beautiful botanical gardens of the Riviera of Flowers), Villa Nobel, excursions to the several vineyards, olive groves, rose and lavender cultivations.

In Sanremo, especially, you can participate in outdoor activities on the beach, in the sea and along the coast, for example windsurfing and  scuba-diving.
