Sanremo offers a host of social and sporting activities such as, sailing, diving, surfing and swimming as well as tennis, horse-riding, golf, cycling and walking. The school can help students to make reservations with any of these activities.

The most important social events in Sanremo are: the "Sanremo Music Festival" held at end of February, "Sanremo-Milano Cycling Race" in the middle of March, "The International Fireworks Championship" at end of June, numerous music festivals "Sanremo Estate" and street theatre from June to September, "The Rally Sanremo" in the middle of October, "The International Sailing Regatta" in the beginning of November and the "International Golf Championship" the beginning of January.

Sanremo is an ideal starting point for other charming excursions along the Riviera. Situated on the same coastal line as the South of France and French Riviera, the Principality of Monaco (Monte-Carlo), is a 30-minute drive along the coast from Sanremo. There are plenty of short trips to the wonderful hinterland where olive groves, vineyards and lavender cultivation, palaces, castles and picturesque medieval villages abound.
